The general framework of reforming about Greek Port development is based on European standards and directed by the Regulation 4150/2013, which among other things focuses on the following three pillars:
I. Creating a single, corporate and modern port system (under the regulations of the Hellenic Ports Association (ELIME) and supervision of the Independent Ports Authority),
II. the immediate establishment of planned Holdings and
III. the conversion of all major ports in Holdings companies.
The mapping of Ports’ privatization is reflected through the written recommendation of the President & CEO of PPA SA, Mr. G. Anomeritis, Monday 17/02/2014 in Piraeus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) entitled “The upcoming privatization of the PPA and the future of Ship repairing and Greek shipyard.”
